1 Shanti Mantra –

Om Sahana Vavatu Sahanau Bhunaktu
Sahaveeryam Karavavahai
Tejas Vinavadhi Tamastumavidhwishavahai
Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi

Translation:

May He protect both of us. May He nourish both of us.
May we both acquire the capacity (to study and understand the scriptures).
May our study be brilliant. May we not argue with each other.Om peace, peace, peace.

2 Guru Shlokam

Gurur  Brahma  Gurur  Vishnu
Gurur  Devo  Maheshvarah
Guru  Shakshat  Param  Brahma
Tasmai  Sri  Gurave  Namah

Translation:

Know The Guru To Be Brahma Himself. He Is Vishnu.
He Is Also Shiva. Know Him To Be The Supreme Brahman, And Offer Thy Adoration Unto That Peerless Guru.

3 Patanjali mantra

Yogenacittasyapadenavacam Malam sarirasyacavaidyakena Yopakarottam prvarammuninam Patanjalim pranjaliranato’smi Abahupurusakaram Sankhacakrasidharinam hasrasirasamsvetam Pranamami Patanjalim

Hari Hey Om

Translation:

In honor of the noblest of sages, Patanjali;  he gave us yoga for serenity of mind, grammar for purity of speech and medicine for perfection of the body.  I salute him. I bow before Patanjali whose upper body has a human form, whose arms hold a conch, and disc and a sword, who is crowned by a thousand headed cobra. Oh incarnation of Adisesa, my humble salutations to thee.

4 Gayatri Mantra

“OM BUHR, BHUVA, SWAHA
OM TAT SAVITUR VARENYAM
BHARGO DEVASYA DHEEMAHI
DHIYO YONAHA PRACHODAYAT”
om shanti shanti shanti

Translation:

We meditate on the glory of the Creator;
Who has created the Universe;
Who is worthy of Worship;
Who is the embodiment of Knowledge and Light;
Who is the remover of Sin and Ignorance;
May He open our hearts and enlighten our Intellect.

5 Maha-Mrityumjaya Shlokam

Om Trayambakam Yajamahe
Sugandhim Pushtivar dhanam
Urva-rukamiva Bhandhanaat
Mrityor-mukshiya ma amritat
Om Klim Nama Shivaya
Om Shanthi Shanthi Shanthihi

Translation:

We worship the three-eyed One (Lord Shiva), Who is fragrant and Who nourishes all beings;
may He liberate me from death for the sake of Immortality, even as the cucumber is severed from its bondage to the vine. Om Peace, Peace, Peace.

6 Ashtangavinyasa mantra

Translation:

Om
I bow to the lotus feet of the Supreme Guru
which awaken insight into the happiness of pure Being,
which are the refuge, the jungle physician,
which eliminate delusions caused by the poisonous herb of Samsara (conditioned existence).
I prostrate before the sage Patanjali
who has thousands of radiant white heads (as the divine serpent, Ananta)
and who has, as far as his arms, assumed the form of a man
holding a conch shell (divine sound), a wheel (discus of light or infinite time) and a sword (discrimination).

7 Bhojan mantra

Brahmaarpanam Brahmahavir Brahmaagnau Brahmanaa Hutam |
Brahmaiva Tena Gantavyam Brahma Karma Samaadhinaa ||

Translation:

The items we use to feed ourselves are Brahman. The food itself is Brahman. The fire of hunger we feel is Brahman. We are Brahman, and the process of eating and digesting food is the action of Brahman. Finally, the result we obtain is Brahman. – Bhagavad Gita

Let us protect each other. Let us eat together. Let us work together. Let us study together to be bright and successful. Let us not hate each other.

8 Annapoorna Shlokam

Annapoorne Sadapoorne, Shankara Pranavallabhe
Gyana Vairagya Sidyartham, BhikshaamDehi cha Parvati
Mata cha Parvati Devi, Pita Devo Maheswarah
Baandava Shiva Bhaktyascha, Svadeso Bhuvanatrayam

Translation:

O Annapurna, Who art ever full, the beloved life-force of Lord Sankara (Shiva), O’ Parvathi – grant me alms that I be firmly established in Knowledge and Renunciation.
Mother is Shakti, father is Shiva, relatives are the devotees of Shiva and own country is all the three worlds

9 Lakshmi Shlokam

Ya Devi Sarva Bhooteshu Lakshmi Roopena Samsthita
Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namaha

Translation:

Salutations again and again to the Devi who abides in all beings in the form of good fortune.

10 Hanuman Shlokams

Buddhir Balam Yasho Dhairyam
Nir Bhayatvam Arogata
Ajatyam Vak Patutvam Cha
Hanumat Smaranat Bhavet

Manoj-avam Maruti Tulya Vegam

Translation:

I surrender to Hanuman, the messenger of Lord Rama, whose speed is as swift as the mind, and as swift as the wind,
who has controlled his sense organs and is the most intelligent among the intelligent ones; who is the son of Vayu and the chief of the monkey tribe.

11 Prabhata Shlokam (Morning Shloka)

Karagre Vasate Lakshmi
Kara Mule Saraswathi
Kara Madhye Tu Govindah
Prabate Kara Darshanam

Translation:

On the tip of your fingers is Goddess Lakshmi; at the base of your fingers is Goddess Sarasvati;
in the middle of your fingers is Lord Govinda. In this manner, look at your palm.

12 Ending prayer

Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah
Sarve Santu Nir-Aamayaah |
Sarve Bhadraanni Pashyantu
Maa Kashcid-Duhkha-Bhaag-Bhavet |
Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih ||

Meaning:

        1. Om, May All become Happy,
        1. May All be Free from Illness.
        1. May All See what is Auspicious,
        1. May no one Suffer.
